Question - behind front tires - sound & rocks

Hi When we go to sites or road rocks we hear the rocks sound hitting under our feet and the front storage compartments. I was going to measure and place this stuff i previously ordered under those areas and the front of the front facing storage compartments.

Any opinions from my new friends and trusted experts?

Sort of pricey when a cheapie door mat from a dollar store and contact cement or gorilla tape might do the job.

When it rains it will get wet. If it doesn’t dry adequately it will generate mold.

Do you prefer the sound of an occasional rock hitting or the generation of mold?

I was looking at these for liners for the wheel wells. I had gotten mud guards from them a couple of years ago.

https://www.huskyliners.com/

Would be interesting to see if some of these fit in the MH wells. Anybody have any experience?

I used there Huskey liner for the rear cargo area of our Ford Expedition. Husky is not as solid as WeatherTec but it served the purpose. When we got rid of the Expedition I cut that liner to use as 2 mats in a couple areas of the garage. The handyman we used to do some work preparing the house for market took. them for use in his workshop. They got around and got some heavy use and held up.

Wen I start hearing the "ping" of flying rocks hitting stuff: I take that as a sign from the Almighty; to slow down...
