Quick Help Needed

I am at the FMCA Convention in Georgia. There is a long and old thread about TireMinder TMPS gauges and which metal is better with the valve extensions on the Vegas models. Which is preferable the brass or Aluminum? One was reported to corrode.
On my phone, in a crowd no chance to search old threads...I usually use my computer.

All towed vehicles will have either rubber (brass) or metal (aluminum) valve stems. If you have a rubber valve stem, you will need brass transmitters. If you have a metal valve stem, you will need aluminum transmitters.

RVs, MotorHomes, 5TH Wheels and Trailers will all have either rubber (brass) or metal (steel, chrome, or nickel) valve stems, all of which work with the TireMinder brass transmitters.

All TireMinder kits come with brass transmitters. If you need aluminum transmitter for your towed vehicle, they can be purchased separately.

This is from Tireminder

I have had my tire minder for three years now and find it to be essential. The pressure readings are quite accurate and I’ve come to trust them. It is surprising how much the pressure increases on a long drive on a hot day. I had to set my alarm trigger a bit higher than recommended to prevent over pressure alarms. I use brass senders all around but I take them off my toad between trips so they don’t have a chance to corrode even if they are inclined to do so.

Gentlemen,

Thanks for the information. The price at the FMCA rally was only $5 less than I found on the internet for the Tireminder (but no free pressure gauge) so I decided to do more research prior to purchasing.

Maybe a little late to the party, but we use brass on our 2016 VEGAS...
