Try calling Axxera directly. They have customer service people. I have had alot of problems with mine and the last time the tech had me remove the faceplate (screen) and re install it. There is a release latch latch on the top of the screen on the back in the center of the screen and re install the screen. This resets the radio. These radios are GARBAGE and has been a problem since 2019 when i picked up the coach 2019 Miramar.

Radio is a axxera with touchscreen. Does not have navigation.
I have tried resetting it with little reset button. No luck.
Checked fuses in battery compartment, under hood, two boxes under
Dash and 12 volt in main circuit box.
Thanks

Hi. I had the same problem with my Axxera. Service guys couldn’t figure it out, but I finally did. On the top edge of your Axxera device you’ll find a small pin head size opening toward the left side. The quick guide will show you. That’s the reset button. Clip the sharp point off of a toothpick and insert it into the small opening. Just push down lightly and it should reset. It worked for me and I was amazed as I am very technically challenged. Good luck.

when I get back from our trip I’m going to find a radio audio pro and let them help and probably buy a new unit and throw this one in the trash!
Thanks to all for all the help and suggestions

OK, if you took the radio out, was it getting the proper 12V? That would tell you if it is the radio or not.

Go to the radio connector and see if you have 12 VDC to ground where you are supposed to have it (2 places). If so, the radio is bad. If not, now you know which direction to start looking. Much quicker than conducting an Easter Egg hunt for fuses that may or may not exist in your coach and which may not even be the problem.

Do you have a BCC under the hood, Thor runs the fused power from it for the radios.

So were the voltage measurements good?

So if you have 12 VDC to both locations on the radio, and the radio has a good ground, and you have done the pinhole reset on the radio to no avail, the faulty component in this puzzle is:
The RADIO.

When you find a good replacement radio post the brand I’m sure a lot of people with the same model would love to throw those in the trash and replace it with a new one

I have had light bulbs give ME this kind of trouble too.
But, to be honest, there was a blue light working, so I guess that is the memory 12V, now the 12V observed at the radio do we ass-u-me to be 12V to both inputs?

It is an Axxera! The OP states they will have an audio jockey check it out. If it were me at this point I would tell the audio tech just replace with a better quality unit.
Now I have to knock on wood as our Axxera is still doing it's job!

Well, we can't assume anything, but he has been told about checking both 12 VDC inputs several times, and I mentioned it in my summary above. I just laid out the logical conclusion if he had received the results from testing that I listed.

After all my searching and all the feedback the problem was the radio itself as I figured.
The good part thanks to this forum and a very nice gentleman it’s fixed.
A gentleman named Richard from the state of California saw my problem and told me he had the same radio I had setting on a shelf that worked and would give it to me. He had put a different radio in his rig and didn’t need this one.
I paid the shipping and he sent it to me here in Missouri. Received it yesterday installed it today and works fine.
There are still some good guys around. Thanks Richard and to all that gave suggestions.

It worked
Had my radio not work after i turned on the generator , co2 bleeped,,so it must have been a glitch.
Used a safety pin to reset the radio successfully.
Thanks, whoever suggested it earlier.

VG thread, I am experiencing the same problem and the reset button did not work this time.
I'm going to try some of the things mentioned that I wasn't aware of to try.
Meanwhile:
I had already installed a roof antenna for my XM radio boombox (my Axxera does not have that XM radio option).
So I ran the extension antenna wire to the cab area so I can set the boombox between the seats on a plastic container we keep there during traveling.
I run the 110v power to the boombox from the television plug in, above the passenger seat, and turn on the inverter.
As for the camera?
I really only care about the back-up one.
I paired a wireless one to my Garmin GPS.
What was annoying about the Axerra radio to me:
The volume button sometimes needed more turning than the radio would respond to.
When a turn signal was on, or the e-flashers, the radio control was nil until the camera view left the screen.
While traveling, the need to find another suitable (to me) radio station as they fade out can get aggravating, especially when in areas of limited signals.
At night, the turn signal camera views were nothing more than a glare. Useless!
I already had the boombox to take with us.
The added antenna to the roof has been there for a good while for our use indoor, the antenna extension wire was a very minor expense to use the radio at the cab (maybe $15).
We already had the Garmin, the compatible camera was only $185 from Garmin (it uses the GPS screen), and to me, that seemed a lot cheaper than a new radio should that turn out to be my problem, so meanwhile I abort the headache of trying to get it working at this time trying to find the fault.
One day, I'll take a closer look, but this works for me, and the XM station continues uninterrupted, except sometimes through the mountains.
Enjoy....
