Radio issue

Well, it happens; this time to my 2014 Four Winds 28Z. I crossed the polarization on the house battery and blew the 40 A cross polarization fuses in the converter. Upon replacing the two fuses all was well with the exception of the factory installed Pioneer radio (P1400DVD). It won't turn on--all other house battery functions are normal. I'm wondering about radio fusible links/other fuses (all converter fuses/circuit breakers are OK). Has anyone else pulled this bone headed stunt and, if so, how did you recover the radio and backup camera function? Thank you.

Thanks, Mustang. I'll check that fuse as soon as I figure out how to remove radio.

Ed,
Don't beat yourself up. It happens to all of us.
Hope you can resolve the problem w/o too much headache.

Thanks, Larry. I'm working on the reason why it wasn't my fault. Once I get that figured out I'll feel awesome.

I am sure you can take it to any BestBuy store and they will pull it for no charge.... fuse might cost you 30 or 40 bucks though.... LOL... any stereo shop would pull it for you for nothing. I have the keys to a few but your not around me....

Awesome Mustang. I'm grateful for the advice--a Best Buy is within 10 miles and I have a pocketful of fuses but whoever does the check deserves to be compensated. Heading off to Alaska in June and need a radio/DVD. Merle Haggard will be along.

Yup did that on my travel trailer second time out. Got to go hunting for all the fuses.

Thanks. I've developed a bit of unintended skill in pulling fuses and the various helpful tools to do so. I don't care for the Thor installed Pioneer radio in my 28Z so if I smoked it it's not devastating but am hoping that upon pulling the radio there will be a smoked fuse instead.
