RC 25 Quantum Awning not extending correctly

I have a brand new Quantum. The awning seems to have a short in it. I’m thinking some wire or grounding issue. It goes out, but stops quickly. And the only way to get it working again is to wiggle an arm. Dealership says it is the motor so they ordered a new one. But I’m going to try to see if I can find a misconnected wire.

I’m not around the rv at this time. Anyone know the manufacture that makes the awning so I that I may find a manual online to help me with manual operation Incase I need? They did not include any literature with our packet. Thanks for any help.

We have 2017 Quantum WS31 and the awning is an LCI Solera, I believe that on the Lippert Components Inc site that some literature on their products are available for download.

My Freedom Elite awning did not work well and I called Lippert. They were quick to claim the motor was bad and they sent me a new one with no hassle. I discovered though that the awning worked fine when the RV was plugged in or the generator was running. In my case, at least, the awning seemed to be very sensitive to voltage.
