Rear grey tank leaking.

We have a Hurricane 35M. When our rear grey tank is full, we know because there will be standing water in the shower, this is not the problem. What happens next is water will start dripping into the storage compartment under the shower. We were told more than once that this is normal. This is not our first Thor coach and I’m not buying it. Does anyone else have trouble with water leaking into their storage compartment when the rear grey tank is full?

Sounds like you have leaking plumbing for your shower drain.

Greetings and welcome

How deep do you let the water get in the shower?
Could be the vent pipe for the shower.

Easy solution, keep the gray tank drain open, we do.
Close the.drain a couple of showers before you drain the black tank.

welcome to the forum!

Don't you just love it when they tell you that something is "normal"; but you know that it isn't?

Our 2018 Windsport 29M has a slow leak at the outlet connection when the tank gets about half full. The MH is in the shop for various fixes, that being one of them. Hope I don't get the same lame excuse. I'll post after I pick it up.

We were told by Thor, when it gets full that’s normal, not buying it.

Not deep, not even enough to cover my foot. This is not our first coach, our Thor Fourwinds class C never leaked.

Is there an access panel you can remove to gain access to the shower drain? We have a panel on our Axis that revealed that the drain to p-trap connection was less than finger tight and leaking.

I would be willing to bet that the shower drain plumbing is the culprit.
