Both Radios Don't Work

Hi,



We took out our house battery for the winter. When we replaced it, the cables were put on backwards and there was a spark. The battery is on now properly and everything is working except for our front radio/backup camera and the back bedroom radio.



We replaced all fuses, including the one behind the front radio. Still, neither radio is working. We reset the front radio too, still doesn't work.



Any ideas on what we can try next?

Define "everything is working".. Does the fridge, furnace, and DC lights work? Did you check both reverse power fuses on the DC distribution panel? Is the USE/STORE switch in USE? Have you checked the 50 Amp DC breaker from the battery? Have you checked the power fuses at each radio.

Your story has been told just on this forum at least a half dozen times this year.

How do so many people hook up battery cables backwards?
