Repair of Windsport 27K problem

If anyone has had this problem I would appreciate hearing how they fixed the problem. I have a 2016 windsport 27k. I need some advice, the floor at the top of the entrance stairs has a soft spot about 18 inches in diameter. Does anyone have a suggestion what to do with or how to fix it.

Have you looked underneath the chassis in that area for a missing/lose cross member or brace of some type? Did this just start? Have you had water issues in the recent past? It could just be as simple as an area that didn't get supported well and has just grown weak over time. You might be able to insert some type of brace or cross member in that area. Previous truck camper a few years ago did similar thing. Found the cross member, which was untreated 2X4, had come lose from the staples they used to install it. Staples rusted and it gave way.

The 1st year we had a problem where the slid would not close. It closed, but didn't compress the seal. So rain water did come in when we were driving. The slid was adjusted. I have been under the rig but didn't see anything that looked like a brace was missing.

Does the the "soft spot" Start right at the top of the step, up against the metal trim around the stair well? In our 2015 27K a squeak developed in that area and I added some aluminum angle screwed into the bottom of the floor and the back of the top step. I used many short screws and bedded it in construction adhesive and the squeak was gone. Our floor does not have any soft spots. I would probably get under the MH and put my hand on the bottom of the floor and have someone walk on the floor to see if you can feel it flex. I think the floor material is at least 1" thick. The floor, at least in our ACE, is a sandwich of plywood on top (about 3/4" as I recall) and 1" x 1" tubing below stacked next to each other. I discovered this when drilling holes for recessed table leg holders to replace the bubble-top table leg holders before we go rid of the sofa and installed a dual reclining loveseat. The plywood may hav got wet at some point and gotten squooshy.
