Repairing ripped out screws

The interior of my Chateau is mostly assembled with screws that are screwed into particle board. This is a poor construction method since the screws tend to rip out of the particle board. I seem to have to repair ripped out/stripped screws after every trip.

What is the best way to repair this? I have used bigger screws in some cases, but this doesn't always work and is sometimes just temporary. Is there a more elegant/permanent fix, such as a special type of anchor, or maybe a wooden plug that gets glued into the stripped hole?

I use same stripped hole, then push sm. Plastic anchors in that hole replace screw. "toilet paper holder"... Never came back out using that method.

I like to use a good dab of epoxy in the hole.

You cannot re-tighten with Epoxy or remove screws if they become loose again.

I break a small piece of Toothpick off in the hole and then reuse the same screw try it it works pretty good

I do the same thing. I break several pieces of toothpicks and put them in the old hole, then screw in the old screw. Has worked for me.

I use both toothpicks and epoxy. Belt and suspenders!
