Repairing Roller Blinds

Hi

I've searched the forum and haven't found an answer to the following problem.

I have a 2018 Thor Siesta 24SS. Two of the roller blinds will no longer retract. They are the kind that have a plastic adjustment wheel at each end, one black, one white. I have not been able to figure out how to remove the blind so that I can roll the blind up and reset the spring mechanism.

Any help would be appreciated.

Curt

Its probably this company that made them:

The #1 RV Roller Shades Manufacturer | MCD Innovations

There is a clip behind that you can snap off with a flat head screw driver. You have to be a bit nimble to do it. Good luck!

where is the release clip?

One end of my roller shade has fallen down. I cannot see how to screw it back in and would like to remove the shade for better access. But I do not see any kind of tab or release clip. I can feel 3 brackets at the top that hold the shade up but find no release. Any help would be appreciated.

If it is an MCD shade it’s just held in by spring clips. They are fairly strong but you should be able to rotate the tube from the clips. Just grab the top rail and rotate it towards you, away from the window.
