Replacement digital thermostat for furnace

Has anyone replaced the analog furnace [only] thermostat with a digital thermostat? Mine is a furnace only, two wire system.
Suggestions?
Products?
Downfalls?

Chea ones about 25/30 dollars should work with batteries don’t hook up negative wire. Usually blue
