Replacement light cover
We lost or someone stole our outside light cover. We have a 2012 Four Winds 23u any ideas where to get a replacement?

Does it look like this:
If so, it is likely a Bargman series 80 fixture, such as: 30-80-001. I have not seen the lens listed separately, so you may have to buy the complete fixture rather than just the lens. If you google Bargman 30-80-001, you will find plenty of sources.

I was searching for a porch light just the other day, and i was reading reviews that the lenses on these like to fall off.
I'm looking for something to install on the service entrance area and the outdoor shower, with a switch on it. I found many options, as FW28Z suggests..... but I didn't settle on one as I need to figure out how I'm going to ensure the switch doesn't get turned on by accident draining my battery.
In my searches, i thought I saw replacement lenses some place, but the whole fixtures are pretty cheap....

You can always get creative and add a switch timer, such as one of these, if you can find a place for it:
Altronix Programmable Timer Module 6030
It has a 3mA current drain in standby. Or you can probably buy similar ones on eBay.
I bought one of these for my stepwell courtesy light:
Amazon.com : SeaSense LED Companion Way Light, Black Cover/White LED : Boating Interior Lights : Sports & Outdoors
I connected it to my 12V bench power supply, and it only consumes about 25mA with three LEDs inside the fixture. If you just used this LED without a timer, it's discharge rate would take 5 months to drain a 100AH battery (or 10 months if you have two batteries in parallel).
The self discharge rate of the battery would probably be as high or higher than the LED fixture, so the risk of leaving the light on is probably minimal.
Unfortunately, this LED fixture does not have a switch, so you would have to wire one up. But there are probably others you can use that do not consume any more than a few millAmperes.
Hopefully, you would notice the light being on before too many days pass; unless of course it is inside a cabinet - in which case you could wire a switch to the door of the cabinet so it goes off whenever you close it.
If you are worried about draining the battery, you could always build your own battery bank with a few rechargeable AA NiMH batteries, so the switch will be "off grid" so to speak.
It all just comes down to how much time you want to invest in a crazy wild idea (of which I have plenty).

how much light does that seasense put out?
Do you think it would be enough to light up the outside shower area?
I don't figure I need the output of the porch light for my needs, but I'd like a good bit of light there just so that you can see what you're doing. to get the dirt off your feet, etc...
and my hope is that it would light up the area aft of the shower where the service drops connect a few feet away, if I need to see those connections in a pinch.... but don't need much light for that....

Not a lot - maybe 25~40 lumens... more like a night-light than a flashlight.

I also had a set of these lights on my last boat:
Barnegat Light (Led Style Cockpit Lights)
They were quite a bit brighter (but also consumed more current). As well, no switch on them.

But for a couple bucks, might not be a bad idea to have a couple of spare lenses in the parts bin.

a "night light" might actually be enough..... although it would be nice to turn up the lumens at times I'm sure....
I'm not satisfied with what I'm seeing RV related.... you give me a great idea though, maybe I'll stick my head in West Marine the next time I'm up that way and see what they have. I'm a hands on guy....
Thanks

Boating Supplies, Marine Products, Quality Marine Manufacturer has a ton of different lights. You have to open the catalog rather than search the product page as for some reason you need an account to do so.
When I had boats, I learned to stay out of West Marine... as it used to cost me a fortune every time I went in there.

mine also fell off. thor suggested to put clear silicon on the top of the lens. just wondering how hard it will be to remove cover to replace the bulb when needed.
