replacing shear springs

Im in the process of removing and installing new shear springs in my leaf springs on my 1998 Thor motorhome. Got the first one off but having difficulty getting the new one back on. If anyone has any tips please let me know.

Pic's would help us see what the problems are.
I replaced the complete spring stacks.(with an extra leaf). after I got the correct ones that is.
The front coil springs is where I screwed up, didn't allow for the additional ride height of the rear springs.... so have somewhat of a "rake" stance of coach going down the road. but much more stable..no more boingy boingy ride.
