if that upper trim is ATTACHED to the slide and moves with the slide, you may be able to look over it when brought in for the two bolts
OR as in my tuscany the big trim piece actually hides all the slide cables and stuff and has to be unscrewed from the main bracket
i replaced my whirpool with a GE advantium.
IIRC the whirlpool had two long screw/bolt things that actually are in the bottom of the unit at an angle and these long bolts screw into the backing plate thats attached to the wall
look at the bottom near the air filters and se if you can find the install manual for your whirlpool unit
thor also made tow brackets on the top from steel that were screwed into the wood and then had a bolt that attached to the top of the whirlpool as if its was in a house cabinet
when i got mine OUT i had to build a bracket across the top so the new unit bolts could reach through like going through a cabinet and i also had to move the mounting plate out about 1.5 " so the door would open fully
in hindsight i should have fashioned a drop down trim piece behind the unit to store cookie sheets . its a big space of air between the 3/4 plywood and the standoffs that pushed it outward enough so the door would open fully
