Maybe we should stop saying upgrade and say what it is:
Change.

$5,000 with no plan or direction.
I'm...not...sure...it says anything except that moderation was not...moderated.

Newbs:
Do not light off the parts cannon.

This week we had someone ready to buy sumos and track bars without checking to see that his sway bar was disconnected and another this week who drove 35mph down the road due to bad handling and ready to buy sumos and sway bars. His sway bar bushings(or somesuch) were worn away.

Too many are skipping the steps of:
Ask a pro
Ask an owner
Take a look
Get some seat time.

Quit throwing parts at it indeterminately.
Chances of the offense being the driver and not the vehicle? 95%

Said it before & I'll say it again! It's a FORD truck chassis, not known for good ride, good handling or good mpg. The V10 will pass everything on the highway except a gas station.

I have a 30 ft 2019 f53 class A and I’m pretty happy with it. I find it’s truck-like character to be rather endearing. It’s not very quiet, smooth or fast but I’ve gotten used to it and enjoy driving it every time. Came through Butte Montana last week with 60 mph wind gusts (per online warnings) and certainly had to pay attention but never felt it was dangerous of difficult to handle.

We've had $5000 worth up grades to steering and suspension and it still drives like a Tank. Anyone else experienced this with F53 chassis?

Mine is best around 60- 65 mph. Still, think school bus!

I got 7.2 mpg going from Salisbury NC to Beaufort SC and back. 514 miles. At avg 65 mph. Using cruise control. In tow mode. Pulling a 3500 lb trailer (smart car on trailer included).

But in response to the OP. He has ghosted!

I just hit my first year of ownership with a class A. No wind it's one handed no problem. about 20mph wind and up it's a handful right now. Need some more seat time to settle down a bit I think (or should I say hope) lol.

I'm pretty sure a large percentage of posters here are just too self arrogant for me to like them much in person.

This thread went nowhere since OP never came back. Lets change the subject. I get my motorhome back today at 2pm with the 3rd fresh water tank. The service manager told me it doesn't leak and it's ready to go. I told him that the handyman that worked on it the last 12 times said the exact same thing. I asked the service manager to go back himself and put a blue paper shop towel below the drain in the bedroom and see if it leaks. I will find out in a few hours. It's only been leaking for 2 years. If you want things never fixed take it to camping world. The wife said I should have fixed it because it would have been done in a few hours. My mistake for using the warranty and not having another authorized dealer in the area

Warranty is a drug that's hard to say no to.

It looks like it's fixed, they left it full of water and so far its dry. I added a cup of bleach and I'll leave it over night and flush it out. Now the fixing is up to me, even though we got the extended warranty I will be fixing it unless something like the roof comes off
