Roof leak or toilet supply?

Discovered my bathroom wall back of toilet and adjacent wall was damp a foot or so up from the floor. Also had a little standing water in the corner behind toilet. I did a check of the roof around tank vent and opening hatch and all caulking looked good. Haven't had a chance to check slide seals on that of wall.
Wondering if anyone had a problem with this area and the fix.

First you need to identify the source of the water.

Did your toilet overflow perhaps? Some toilet valves do not actually shut off completely unless you "assist" the pedal upwards with your foot.

The crazy thing about leaks is that the source could be literally feet from where you find it wet.

It is entirely possible the wet spot has nothing to do with the toilet, but rather, it found a path from the source to where you found the wet area.

And the path could be horizontal for part of it's route.

I should have mentioned that after drying up the standing water behind the toilet, I kept check on the toilet valve and lines and they were not leaking after a day's use. I made sure the AC unit was draining ok. We have had a lot of rain and it is most likely a leak from the roof. The wall is damp to the touch in the corner behind the toilet a little higher than a foot, maybe a couple of feet. then radiating out a foot or so and a foot or so high.
Finding the source of the leak is the challenge and a real mystery. If it does not rain in the next few days and the walls continue to dry, then it is most likely a roof or slide seal leak.

Could also be leaking at the outside shower or city water inlet.

Good ideas. I can check those when I return home. I would guess judging by the standing water behind the toilet, it could have wicked up the corner. If it does not dry out by the time I get home, I may have to remove the wall panels......which I really don't want to do.
