Roof question

I climbed up on the roof of our nearly new 34f and noticed that the rubber roofing is wrinkled and loose along both sides. Is this normal?

Hard to get a good picture but here’s an attempt.

I can't tell from the photos but I assume the roof rolls over the sides and seams there. As long as all the seams are good this should not cause a problem. I can't say it is normal but the EPDM material is very flexible and should be fine.

Yes it appears everything is covered, it’s just “puckered up” along the sides and appears to be pooling a bit of water in the wrinkles.

Well the EDPM won't rot so the water won't be an issue. Just be careful walking on the wrinkles if the temps are below freezing. It does stiffen in extremely cold temperatures and could possible crack if stepped on.

My guess is it was not properly trimmed to width when installed, but again, shouldn't hurt anything.

Thor MC gas coaches use TPO (thermo-plastic olefin) roofing material not EDPM

As long as there aren't any cracks, and the seams are well-sealed:

Roof question

Thanks for confirming! I’m a little gun shy right now with the other quality issues this thing has had.

Hang in there! There's a solution for each and every one of the issues!
(That's what I keep telling myself...)

Sorry...you are correct. However my statements still hold true for the TPO as well.
