Your best bet, if possible, is to keep the mice from entering the RV. Seal up every possible entry. Use spray foam and/or stainless steel wool to seal it up or tack some additional tarp underneath. Where you park is also a contributor. I noticed that when I parked my RV on a drive next to the woods, got mice in the unit. When I parked in my driveway which is not next to the woods, no mice. Placing traps in the unit should just be an additional safety net with the goal of not trapping any.
