Rusty screws

After installing LED taillights and resealing my marker lights and finding all the screws rusty I am on a mission to replace all the exterior screws with stainless steel screws.

I did my rear ladder today filling the holes with silicone and strips of hardwood for extra bite. I also used 1 1/2 inch screws versus original 1 inch long screws.

It just amazes me that for maybe $300 dollars more per coach Thor could use stainless steel screws for exterior applications

Screws are a pet peeve of mine with Thor as well. In most cases Thor.....

- Uses screws that are too short or not heavy duty enough for the application
- Uses screw guns set with the torque too high resulting in 75% of the screws being over-tightened and the holes stripped, damaged or misaligned
- Doesn't use stainless steel screws where they should

I am going to replace a bunch of rusty screws and bolts! You should of seen what junk screws they used on my winegard mounts!
