Looking for recommendations on a replacement water pump. Thanks

Shurflo...best pumps made. Just make sure you stay with same specs as OEM. A spare water pump was the first thing I bought 3 days after purchasing the new MH. Some things you just can't live without and a "no water" situation is tops on that list.

I agree - Shurflo pumps have always met my expectations.

Where would I find the specs for my water pump - besides looking at the pump (which is difficult to do while in storage) - so that I can find an equivalent replacement? (2017 Four Winds 24F). TIA

Your coach should have come with a build sheet listing all of the components, their part numbers and serial numbers. If it didn't, give Thor a call (have your VIN handy) and they will e-mail it to you.

Then just google it.

Thanks Jamie; as mentioned - the coach is in storage. Is any of this information available in manuals or posted on Thor site? One would think all 24F would have the same water pump.

No, Thor lists very little specifics like that on their website.

You'd think that they would all come with the same pump but its Thor. Much like everything else they seem to buy the parts in bulk and when that runs out they buy another bunch from the lowest cost supplier. Thus coaches from the same model year can have different parts content.

I wouldn’t work too hard to buy the same or a similar spec pump. If/when I have to replace mine I’ll do a significant upgrade - higher flow and variable speed to reduce cycling. Most units come with pretty basic parts and I frequently look at a failure as an opportunity to upgrade performance or quality. It’s not worth replacing things before they break but when the opportunity presents...

I suggest adding a Seaflo Accumulator tank
It quiets the pump significantly by reducing run time
Amazon has them for under $30
It’s an ez install

Just make sure the wiring to your old pump can handle the amp draw of your replacement.
