Chassis Control Module - What is a chassis control module?
It receives inputs from various sensors in your suspension, steering, and brakes. The module then sends control signals to the ABS or other systems to help keep your car stable and safe in all conditions.
Not sure what a CCM would have to do with "RV had no get up and go" unless it was applying the brakes at all times. In any case, it sounds like the service center you have it at is incompetent. I assume you are out of warranty and this is all on your dime?
Reprogramming is such a broad spectrum from as simple as attaching your chassis VIN to a component to release the anti-theft lock all the way up to a full engine tune. But in reality, none of it is starting from scratch - it's just a matter of having the equipment and file to upload to the device's firmware.
I think I'd get Ford on the horn and see if they can't get to the bottom of your issue or recommend a different place to take it.
