RV tire recommendations

I own a Palazzo 33.2 and need to replace all six tires. The age of the tires are from 12/13. I am seeing cracking and definitely need replacements due to the age not the tread being bad. I only have 27k miles. I have Goodyear G670 tires on it now and would like to replace them with the same tire but I can’t find any tires from any Goodyear dealer or even online. I am considering replacing them with Toyo or Yokohama tires. Does anyone have and recommendations on these tire or other tires that might be good for motor homes? Size is 255/70 R22.5.

Try a shop that specializes in heavy duty truck applications.

Any good hi way rated tire of the same size will be perfectly fine. Many folks now swear by Toyo primarily due to the lower price. I run only Michelins and have for many years.

Be sure you get the same ply as you have had good experience with and check all the specifications carefully.

I currently have Continentals on all 6 and they seem to work well for me.

Yes on Toyo

I put a new pair of Toyo M154 245/75/22.5 on my 2014 Thor Challenger 37GT before taking a 10,000 mile cross country trip this year. They performed flawlessly and will now replace the four rears with the same.

I replaced 6 year old Micheline with Toyo tires. No difference in ride or handling.

Join FMCA for their tire deal

I needed to replace all 6 Continental tires on my 2012 ACE 29.2. I joined FMCA, bought 6 Michelin tires through their tire program, saved hundreds of dollars over other local quotes on Michelin or Continental and saved enough for 3 years of FMCA membership. Used the tire program for my car Michelin's as well, saving enough for another couple of years membership. No downside that I can see. Nice member magazine too.

For a A Class i.e. F53 Chassis

Are all 6 tires the same? If so; does anyone travel in A class with a spare tire (but no wheel)?

I am not sure it is helpful to have a extra tire with the roadside assistance programs that do not include tire / wheel replacement.?

Also has anyone ever bought tires for RV at Just Tires? They said they would and even aired my tires once, make me wonder if I should go there when time to replace all 6?

A few folks traveling to Alaska have been known to take along a spare tire. I would be more likely to take one if I had odd sized tires like the smaller 22.5's
since mine takes a common size many trucks and trailers use I don't see the need

On my 2016 Vegas 24.1 I need an "E" rated 10ply tire. My spare that I got a really great deal on is mounted on the correct rim but only has a "D" rating. It will be good enuff to get me to a repair shop to remount my replacement "E" rated tire that I also carry with me. It will save me those high prices charged along the road by the tow truck operators.
