Help axxera tv to hdmi arc soundbar

Tv arc and sound bar arc hooked up. Tried tv vol off and in tv settings no arc or cec? How do we get sound from sound bar?

I, being very simple, have never had arc work for me on any tv or sound bar. 10 to 60 minut3s of piddling with it, and I give up.
I use the fiber optic on one of my tvs and the old fashioned rca(?)jacks on the other and a third is plugged into the headphone jack of the tv.
I've never seen a sound bar with only HDMI, but I haven't purchased one in 5 or so years.

Does your Axxera have ARC? If so is it turned on in the settings? Are you plugged into the designated ARC HDMI port? ARC normally only works on one HDMI port.

Yes axxera has hdmi arc. On 1 TV I saw the CEC SETTING and lost it. I need to see how I got to it
