Just washed my 35' class A today after a long winter and messy tree polen. The roof was filthy and the sides we're full of pollen. Took me the better part of the day. I will do it again mid summer and again in the Fall prior to waxing. Unfortunately, I have to store it out in the elements.

When I had the 41 foot DP, I carried a seven foot ladder, mainly for cleaning that windshield. When it gets full of crushed, dried and harden bugs, nothing on a pole is going to work very well. Its just a time consuming job.

I wax by hand but my cousin uses a buffer to apply and microfiber towel to buff it off.
I wax by hand so I can make sure all the spots are clean. It takes me about two days. But for me it relaxing.
There are two product I use first the wash and wax then the wax.
The roof I used aerospace 303

Yeah the rainex works cause the rain doesn't stay on the windshield when traveling on the road. Without it the raindrops just stay there and with mine the wipers actually get out of sync. Or the rainex streaks if you use the wipers. Better just use the rainex and clean it if too many bugs and reapply the rainex.

In Cambodia ( we were not there, ask Nixon if he was here with us ) I saw the big elephant grave yard as they were thought to be a part of Buddha's life and believed to be sacred and to be worshiped as well as to be prayed to.

For windshield, I use a scotch Brite and good stepladder. After I get love bugs and other guts off, I use Rain X. Even with bug wash in reservoir they still stick.

Yeah, the lovebugs in Florida...I remember them, badly.

Our MH is stored indoors, however, I still wash it every trip, 2 or 3 times a month. We do a lot of 24 hour stays a the lake 60 miles from the house. I don't like to let bugs stay on the paint and windshield and it take about 40 minutes to complete a wash. I wash on the driveway in front of the storage spot. Products used are Wash-NWax, Bugs-N-All (works great) and RainX on the windshield about every 3rd time. I have a power washer that stays connected and rain water that does not leave water spots or require drying. In April and November I have the roof professionally cleaned at a campground that we go to each year.

How much 303 does it typically take to do the roof?

I fill this about half way with:
This:
Soak it down real good and scrub it with this:
That I bought at Camp Land in Burns Harbor Indiana. I hook up a hose to it and the crap just washes away.
All the black streaks just wipe right off.

The roof gets washed twice a year and the rest gets done each time before we go out. These RV are to expensive. Our RV sits In a covered storage yard.
Wife and I work together to wash RV in a hour or so. Just soft water, waxing soap and a long handle brush.

Keep our Axos under a pole barn, so its out of the rain and direct sun light. Still gets a lot of pollen and dust on it. Wash it when its dirty. Average 3 to 4 times per year for a complete wash. However, after we've been on a trip and sometimes while on a trip, I'll wash the bugs off the front, the windshield, mirrors, etc. We're in FL, so lots of love bugs in spring & summer and, if left on painted areas, they can cause pits in paint. Front and rear tend to get dirty quicker than sides. When I do a complete wash, I have a commercial duty pump up sprayer that I put concentrated car wish in and spray that on about half a side at a time, then go over that with a long handle brush, then rinse it off with the hose. Spraying car wash solution on and letting it sit a few minutes makes job a lot easier. Tried using pressure washer once but it was too powerful and damaged the decals in a couple small places.

Agreeing with everyone but adding that a good power washer is a big help. We can’t store ours at home but bring it home to wash and wax. Between using a soft brush on an extended handle to soap it up and a gas fueled power washer it cleans up pretty quickly.
