What kinda condition, glossy or faded. Good place to start. I use Produxa. Happy with it. Mines a 2013. Still looks like new. Now the decals are another story.

I use Turtle Wash and Wax after every trip, have been for years. It cleans good and seems to keep the shine. I use Nu Finish wax once a year on the whole coach.
I have started using McKees Marine and RV Graphic restore on the vinyl jury still out on that product.

There are numerous spray & wipe waxes in the automotive section in Walmart or any auto parts store, chose what works best for you. Try it on your car 1st to see how you like it before spending a couple days on the RV.
From my experience you can spend $ to $$$$ on this wax or that, most do a good job, but all need to be done at minimum a couple times a year to keep the RV looking good.
Personally I've found all the Turtle Wax products do a good job, inexpensive, easily found & easy to apply. As mentioned the TW Wash & Wax is a good easy to use wax that can be used on glass, paint, plastic, just mist & wipe. DW uses it on the shower walls & doors (DO NOT USE ON THE FLOOR), the kitchen counters, & the black appliances, she really likes it.

Take your pick. All you need to do is apply a wax of any type. The older you get the less you will do it, take if from me. LOL. I do it once a year now. My graphics are pretty much toast, going to remove them next, the bad ones that is. My coach sits in the outdoors 24/7 hot summers, cold winters.

I'm sure not going to spend in upwards of 10,000 dollars to get it repainted!

Forgot to mention I had it done once, that cost 300 dollars, won't do that again.

Waxes

I only use all Chemical Guy's products. I have used all the waxes noted below including commercial-grade Meigers but nothing has ever been as good as Chemical Guy's. Sign up for online coupons. Fathers day should be a good one.

I use thier washes, waxes, sealants, ceramic spray coatings, wash mitts, foam cannons, torque polishers. The products noted above can be used on painted and non-painted surfaces. most of thier products have UV UA ingredients. They even have products to bring those fade decals back to life and looking like new.

I’ve been using F11 Topcoat on m my 2019 Chataeu. It’s easy to spray on and you just use one cloth to apply and one to wipe off. It’s less labor intensive than applying wax and seems to hold up very well, plus the shine is awesome! You can get the product online.

I know this is not a wax but I am tired of paying $300 to $600 for an annual wax job. I can’t do the wax myself due to health.

What experiences have people had with Poly Glow?

Personally have not used it, but putting floor wax on my RV sides doesn't seem like a good plan.
From reading threads on a couple other forums the general conscience is don't use it due to yellowing.

Blue Coral Wash and Wax, super cheap at wally world and works pretty good. I use it after every trip. I used it for my last coach and it looked just as good after 15 years as it did the day I bought it. I use it on all of my cars and trucks.

This stuff is $60 for a 16oz. bottle. Is it really worth it at that price and does 16oz do your whole rig (cite size)?

In the same Vein

I full time. I told myself, before I started this jaunt, I wasn't going to travel around like some redneck hillbilly. I try really hard to keep my stuff tight.

Finding a campground that'll let you wash your RV is becoming more rare as time goes on. Those that do, usually have an independent/isolated water supply (e.g. well) and the water can be very hard, leading to spotting.

I use Blue Beacon when I need to and have the chance. I sometimes find myself in situations where they're nowhere to be found - it becomes DIY. I don't mind doing it. It's just getting harder to find a place that will let you and I need a wax that holds up longer between 'finds'.

I recently booked a stay at a campground that had an RV wash on the grounds. I tested it with the towed. 2.5min for $1.50. By the time I got done washing the RV, if it did the job, and stopping to feed the machine, I could give Blue Beacon their $35 and still come out on top.

I'm praying I can find and pay a place to restore the gelcoat. It's fading fast and I want to try to save it before it really is too late.

What have you found works in my situation?

Thanks.

I use it on my old Coachman Freelander c and it looked like new, received many complements even after a year.

On my new Thor ace 29.3 I have tried maguires marine wax, a lot of work but looked good and also have tried 303 paint protector also looked good and not as much work but cost $40 for 4 bottles on sale.

I am thinking of going back to poly glow, east to apply with the mit or mop and really does glow.

Jamie, I used REJEX as well, however our VEGAS had severe oxidation. We used the MCGUIRES HEAVY OXIDATION REMOVER to bring back the color, finish and shine (I dont have the luxury of inside storage).

Have you had any oxidation issues with REJEX?

Mothers CMX ceramic coating. Simply spray on and wipe off. Seems too easy but the results are great. Water doesn't bead but sheets off. Did my Axis last year, needs another coating now. Read up on it, YouTube has comparison videos. Less than 20$ on the Zon. You can do the windows too.
