Question Front Entry Step

My husband and I are first time RV owners so this may sound like an obvious questions to others. Is there a way to make the entry step stay "out" when parked at a campground? We're in and out a lot and have 2 small dogs and every time we open the door to go in or out we have to wait a second for the step to extend/retract. It sure would be more convenient to just leave it out when parked.

Step

Yes, as soon as you enter the MH, on the left wall, flip the switch that says "step". That will allow the the step to stay extended.

Unfortunately, we don't have labels on any of the switches! We have 6 buttons as you come up the step into the RV on the left and the only one that has a label is the bottom left, it is the Battery Disconnect Switch. We were told to switch the battery off when in storage and we're not using. The other buttons have no labels!!! I guess we'll just try them and see what they each do! Thanks for the quick reply.

Step

Ours has two rows of three. Top row is lights, the bottom row far right is the step button for ours.

I'm certainly going to go give it a try when I get home! Are yours labeled?

Regarding labels for switches a few of us ordered labels from Carolina Laser. Mine have been in place for over a year and were well worth the cost.

You can view this thread on the forum for more info.

It stinks when you don't know which switch goes to what !!!

We experienced the same thing in our new Axis ...
With my computer/printer...I printed on label paper (sticky back) the
missing labels . I had the paper on hand so it was an easy fix and looks good.

Maybe the labels are an extra-cost option...

As soon as we got home from picking up our new coach, I used a Brother P-Touch label maker and labeled every switch that wasn't already so now there is no fumbling for the right switch.

sticky back label paper .
Someday the labelmaker will surface and I may change them out !
