Sanitize Water System

Overview: We have a 2017 Synergy TT24, built in water filter, on-demand water heater, standard 12V pump, and the water switch outside has 4 positions, City, Tank, Normal, sanitize/winterize.
The things that are not covered in my Thor Owners Manual: how to put in cleaning solution? What to do with water filter? Does this small on-demand water heater hold any water?
1. (In TT model) expose tank and pump left side/passenger side of coach, and water filter on right side. No drain for water heater.
2. Follow instructions in manual, but with water pump off - remove water filter and replace filter housing before running solution through system (note: never turn on the pump or have the outside switch to city without the water filter in place). We used vinegar solution instead of bleach or chlorine.
3. At the point which you drain the fresh water tank all the way, I recommend cleaning the water pumps filter / screen. Note: if you do it with water in tank, water will come out of the pump.

Roblang3..what exactly are you asking? If you are sanitizing the lines or winterizing the unit?
Either way..remove your filter from housing and reinstall housing. You can run sanitizer through lines by valve on sanitize and turning pump on. Your filter can be stored as you see fit. Your on demand h/w heater does not have a drain..you have to winterize unit by allowing fluid to flow through the copper lines and core. Once your unit is winterized...it will also be winterized. Hope this helps.
