Heater blower weak on driver's side

Hi folks,

I could use your collective brainpower to help me diagnose my heater issues on my 2016 Thor Chateau 26A . In short, the left side of my RV is getting little to no heat from the furnace. I opened up and checked the incoming feed on the left side (labeled #8 in the diagram) and feel very little air being sent from the blower. The problem has to be on the passenger's side or the floor trough it just too small by design. The only problem is, I can't access the feed going to the floor trough (#2 in the diagram). Anyone have this issue on the Chateau 26A? Trying to determine it's just a bad design before I rip up my step up flooring and investigate further... Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
Since those openings are on a slide: could the hose have come loose, or gotten hole in it?

It’s not actually on the slide. The bed above it slides. I think I’m going to have to rip up the carpet/plywood and investigate further.

How is the air coming out of the blower? Try taking off the hose and looking for debris or worse, a critter next in the hose feeding the trough. You could have construction debris in the hose or trough. Maybe disconnect at #8 and try blowing air back to the blower housing, disconnect from the blower of course. In my old class c, I had a rather large hole in the hose feeding the bedroom in the rear. You may have a hole or bad kink in hose #2.

Good call. Maybe I’ll borrow a scope camera.

Amazon has several, cheap.
Search "endoscope or borescope".
I have one with a 35' cable.

Here's one that hooks to your phone, PC or tablet, 12' cable for $7.00.
