Sealing the roof and/or windows Axis 25.4, 2018
Good day and thank you for any offered advice. We bought a 2018 Axis 25.4 last summer (used). I have read one needs to reseal the seams of the roof as well around the air vents, a/c unit, etc. What is the best product to use for this weather-proofing as well what temperatures are needed to do the job well? We have had a couple leaks when the vehicle is not parked level such as in our driveway or at a site. I have removed the 'weather covers' from the vents and inspected (to the best of my lacking experience) and saw nothing obvious to the leak. The leak seems to be from around the front vent in the entrance/kitchen area. We have also experienced a leak from the driver's side window frame at the base, but I realize it could have originated from elsewhere. We are currently experiencing temperatures in the low to mid 60s so any warmer would likely require a dealership or repair facility to do the job. Thank you for your responses.
