Sealing tank heater pad edges

Good day all,

A friend of mine mentioned a tape product to seal the edges of the tank heater pads so that they don't come loose.

Anyone know of a product?

Cheers!

Eternabond or Gorilla tape. Clean the area thoroughly with alcohol for the best bond.

I used Gorilla glue and Gorilla tape on mine. Glued the edge first and then taped. That was about three months ago. So far, holding up. I suspect this will be a once/twice a year maintenance check.

I used some adhesive on mine when I bought the rig. I had one pad hanging fairly loose.

I don't remember what it was unfortunately...something I had laying around. I think it might have been e6000. Whatever it was, it's held well (the last time I looked anyway)

Southerner here, In the last 20 years I have never turned on the tank heater pads on any rig I owned. Thanks for bringing this to my attention to at least look at the pads.
