Severed cable under oven

Chateau 28Z, noticed the drawer below the oven was not fully closing. Pulled it out and saw this cable sitting there loose. I don’t think the drawer caused it. Does anyone know what this cable goes to? Should it be lying there not connected To anything on this end? I’ll try and trace it back, or find a schematic this weekend, but wanted to hit up the knowledgeable folks here first. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is that an orange COAX cable for a non-existent outside TV?

Good call, I think you may be right. I’ll strip the end to be sure. But why is it here and not on the passenger side where the external tv option would be? Or if this is the other end is there a cable junction box in this area that it would have been connected to?

OK, looking at your floorplan that would be in the area of your CableTV input. Or, since your TV is in that slide, maybe it goes to the TV and it really is severed. Have you tried getting OTA TV on that TV?

A lot of the wiring harnesses are generic so they fit across several models with several option packages. It may be for an accessory that's available on a different model.

Thanks Ted, Will need to confirm that as well. Dealer had local tv playing, but not cable tv. Another thing to check. Along that line, the bedroom tv was all static which seems weird now that I think about it. Good to know the consensus here is coax and not electrical. Whew!

Yeah, I’m thinking Ted is right that it’s coax for either of the two TVs or the not installed optional outside tv. Thanks for this. I’ll be looking into it more this weekend

If it's coax and you can put a cable end on it, get a coax tester and then check other locations you can find cable such as the bedroom, and see if that's where it goes. Trial and error. Similar to what I bought a few years ago.

I have orange cable the end has coaxial termination but not hooked to anything. I have 3 tvs and all work on antenna and cable. Always figured it was pre-wired harness for satellite dish option, which I don't have.

Looking closely at your pic, it's without question RG6/U CATV coax. In our 2022 FW 31W, that is the same location where a 2-way splitter feeds the dinette and bedrooms TVs.
