Cool Sewer Hose Hookup Challenge

We have a 2015 Thor Windport that has a challenging sewer connection that does not allow us to hook up a sewer hose through the port at the bottom of the compartment. You can only hook up the hose with the compartment door open.

Thought I saw some posts about this subject but have not been able to fine it to see how the problem was solved.

Any products out there that will allow for the proper hookup of the sewer hose and to be able to close the door.

Thanks,

AFLOGGIE

Yes, just had a thread on this issue. Either move or add the porthole so it lines up to the connector.

Thumbs up

To all that offered insight to fixing this challenge, thanks very much.

Had no idea that the connector for the sewer hose actually swiveled downward. Also found out that by purchasing a sewer hose with a shorter connector than I had made it a whole lot easier to connect to the drain. The hose actually fits through the access hole in the compartment.

On to the next issue that has not yet raised its ugly head!!!

Thanks very much again and Happy RV'ing!!!!

Another way to make things easier is to buy a 2' connector hose. The shorter length makes it easier to monkey with, and you can can connect to the 10 footer (or longer!) with everything outside the rig.

1 down and only 999 to go

Keep reading and you will learn a lot; and BEFORE it may become an issue for you. Pick and choose your topics that are dear and true for you today and it will kind of grow on you.

Without this site, I never would have had the to courage to buy a RV, and then when I bought one; I could have been so overwhelmed to a point where #1 I didn't use the RV like I have, or #2 I just gave in and sold it for profit when the market was way way up!! Now when I think about it.... this forum may have cost me $40 - $50k in potential profits
