Shower drain leaking. 2018 Thor windsport 34J

2018 Thor Windsport 34J

Need advice on the best way to gain access to the shower drain. Water comes out from under shower on the floor and I don’t think there is access without cutting in to the panel. Is there a better way.

Look in the rear wheel well for an access panel

Thank you. Was able to see drain and it is fine. Seems to be when water is turned on it leaks somewhere on the supply line leading to the shower head. Anyone cut a pan access panel under the shower on the bathroom to get to the supply lines?

Are you sure it isn't the shower mixing valve? I had the same thing happen when I turned the water on and it was one of the small pieces of plastic in the mixing valve itself. If so it's an easy and cheap fix.

I would think there is a removable panel behind or below that little TV across from the bunks for that plumbing.

If you remove the mixing valve you can then remove the little raised plastic panel that it mounts to. That gives you plenty of room to access and work on the lines at the top. They go straight down from there to the floor.

No built in access panel but with a little effort i was able to gain access. I could see everything and was able to pinpoint the problem. Thank you!

ALSO, This was cracked right along that tab. Any suggestions on where to purchase? Lowes, Home Depot, or will I need to order? Thank you everyone!

I'm not sure what that is but I can almost guarantee you will need to purchase the entire assembly it is a part from.

Nope!

This is exactly what happened to me too. Less than $10 - That's a win!

My new always accessible service said in his 25 years of working on motorhomes..the biggest leaks are shower nuts loose, outside shower nuts loose and nuts around water pump..
