2015 Axis squeak in cab on passenger side

We have a 2015 Axis 24.1. It has a vibration squeak in the cab on the passenger side. I can't tell if it is in the dash or the privacy shade. I took off the computer desk and checked the screws and all we tight.

Has anyone had a similar problem and what did you do to alleviate this annoyance?

Squeaks and rattles can be super aggravating. Suggest you get someone to drive your Axis while you attempt to track down the source. I tracked one noise to the fold down counter extension, and had to pad it with the cloth part of some velcro and squirt silicone on the joints.

Our 24.1 Vegas had a similar squeak . Turned out to be in the lift system for the overcab bunk , passenger side.
Had a friend ride with me and he was able to silence the noise by pulling one of the lift cables . Showed my wife how to do it and whenever it started to chirp she would silence it.

petew,

Thanks. We don't even use the lift bed. I'll look at the lift cables and see what can be done. We never considered that the problem would be in the lift-bed. I hope I can find it. I'll let you know. Thanks again.

Squeak passenger side cab 2014 Axis 24.1

I purchased this RV 2 months ago. I am the 3rd owner. Overall it has been great, but I too have an incessant squeak on the passenger side when the road is not completely smooth. I didn't consider the cables on the lift bed as possible source. I have still to troubleshoot this. When I figure it out, I'll add post. Has anyone out there solved this problem?

Squeak passenger side cab 2014 Axis 24.1

I too am the proud third owner of a 2014 Axis 24.1 and experienced the squeaking on passenger side. After reading this forum I investigated the platform support cable/pulley as the source of the noise and YES this is the source. Here is the easy fix for me. Raise the platform, insert the safety pins, lower the platform slightly so the platform is resting on the pins and releasing the tension on the cables ever so slightly. Voila! No Squeak.
