Siesta 24SA with water in outside bin
Here is a weird one:
My RV is about 5 years old. In this model there is the kitchen sink inside, just behind the coach door. Outside, just about the same height, is a flip-up door that used to cover a TV - I removed it since we don't watch TV outside. (Or inside, really.) I put a few items in that space.
BENEATH that flip-up door and the TV bin is a large storage bin - running between the coach door and the rear axle.
INSIDE that bin, there is a small, plastic toolbox, all the way forward. And inside that, when I occasionally look, besides tools, there is ... WATER. And rusty tools. Everything else in that bin is dry. Today there was about 1 1/2 inches of water in the toolbox.
The question is: where did the water come from, and how do I stop it from going where it shouldn't? Last time I took it in for dealer service, I told them my wife had seen water around the base of the faucet, and I asked them to find the leak and fix it. They told me later that they had tightened everything and it should be fine...
I have to admit I have not used that toolbox in the last year or so - so maybe they did fix it...
Anyway - sorry this is so long. I will have to start some testing and checking - unless anyone here has an idea? Other than: move the tool box!
Thanks
Dan
