Skylight shade repair

We own a Thor Compass and found the shade to the skylight over the cab totally unwound and sagging. It will not rewind. I was hoping it was like a home shade where I could take it out of the brackets and turn the ends to tighten the springs, then replace it. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case. Does anyone have experience fixing or replacing one?

Sorry....not that kind of skylight. It's the one right over the cab and has a powered shade...like a window shade. It's the shade that is broken, not the skylight.

I watched a tech work on ours, its full of cables, pullies and springs. Once you get the frame around it off, you should be able to see the mechanics. When I looked in there, it seemed over complicated, but maybe not. Good luck.

Yes...I have ours taken apart but I can't figure out how to get the old one out of the brackets to try to tighten the springs. Was hoping someone here had done it and could tell me how.

I have the same problem on my 2018 Gemini TR , motor is working but shade is loose and will not retract

I was wondering if anyone found a way to repair the sunroof electrical shade? Mine just sagging and I hear the motor running but nothing moves.
