Slide controller error codes

Had no 110 voltage today (shore power or generator) talked with Thor Tech support, finally found the transfer switch (which was not where it was diagrammed) The HOT wire was not secured connected to the switch and had arced and melted the wingnut. Got that repaired, however, during the search for the transfer case, I found the SLIDE controller was flashing an error code. Apparently there is a "short in hall power to ground"

I know the manual says to "reset the board by energizing the extend switch" however, I am a little concerned to run the SLIDE out if there is an error code (It is nice and snug in the RV now)

Any input would be appreciated.
