Slide out motor appears burnt out.

We have a 2015 Thor Windsport 32N, that has only 1 on the 2 motors is working. Is this a common problem to have a motor fail? We have 5th wheel campers in the past and thi sniis the first time that I have ever encountered such an issue. Sitting with a slide out stuck openl

Something specifically telling you the motor "let the magic smoke out"?
I wouldn't say it is common to fail, but does happen.

Controller may be showing an error code (via flashing lights)... Verify power and connections all the way to motor...

Manual slide in for Schwintek is to disconnect motor power at controller and PUSH. I've done it with a small slide and a few people... Larger slides will be challenging.

Did the resets. Changes connections and still the same motor worked and the other remained nonfunctional. I was on the telephone with the Thor service rep and the dealer service manager and the dead motor was their separate diagnosis. With the slide being full side of the coach my wife and I were unable to manually push it in.

Sounds like a motor replacement then...
No good way to manually roll in a full wall schwintek slide. Seven people couldn't roll in my dining/couch slide when we tried - probably half the size of yours...

I will add - motor failures (and other issues) in full wall slides are definitely more common...
