The wiring harnesses run up under the slide on each side. They can be difficult to trace as they can run through the floor and walls.
There is a wiring harness running from the Controller to each motor. The harness plugs into the motor, which has its own 6" harness coming out of it with a connector.
The first thing to do is to check the top of the slide motors. You will need to pull back the bulb seal on the inside at the top of the wall with the slide closed. Then you can check the wiring going into the top of the motor.
There are times the slide motor can move and either pinch a wire there or even knock off the encoder at the top of the motor. Either will cause an error code on the Controller. You should also make sure the harness is plugged into the motor and Controller securely.
If you can't see anything obvious, you can try getting a long spare wiring harness and plug one end into the motor with the error and then run it out a window and plug it into the Controller to see if the error clears. If the error clears, then you know it is the actual harness and not the motor (or Controller).
I actually carry a 35' spare harness for troubleshooting or to get a slide in if a harness goes bad on the road.

You can also swap the two motor harnesses at the Controller to see if the error follows the cable or it stays with a specific motor. That can help you narrow it down to the actual harness or a problem with a motor.
