Make sure plugs at controller and on top of motor are plugged in. Check controller for error codes. Controller is located at the top of compartment under the slide. That would be the first checks I would do.

Slide out not working

As mentioned, check the controller for error codes. There are a couple wire related issues that will cause an error code and prevent a motor from turning.

Assuming you have the LCI / Schwintek controller, there is a white reset button next to the LED lights. If you press the reset buttom 6 times and then hold it on the 7th press for several seconds, the lights will start flashing as it enables the override mode.

You’ll have 2 minutes to try and extend / retract the slide. If the slide does extend / retract, then it is either a bad motor wiring harness or an issue with the encoder on top of the motor.

A common problem with the older LCI motors is the plastic cover can get knocked off the motor and cause the encoder to get dislodged. The newer motors are shrink wrapped to better secure the encoder.
