I think that is wonderful that you were able to work out what appears to be a reasonable compromise plus your wife was able to help the young owner out with her business billing knowledge.

Safe travels my friend

I appreciate everyone's advice. Had a great day with family and friends. Kicking everybody out in the morning, loading up the RV for a short 2 night trip to try our luck with those one arm bandits in Louisiana.

Wow, our bill was slight over $500. Took our 2015 Thor Vegas to a private RV shop for repair. Since it was out of warranty we had to paid the cost. It was for only one motor that went out on the Kitchen slide.

I had 2 "mobile" guys come out to a campground to get my slide in and come back when they got the new motor in for $600 total....in a shop it's hard to imagine it'd be more than $300.

Our tech explained that they are difficult to get to, that was reason for cost of replacing. The main thing was not to stop while opening and closing the slide, it's a lesson we learned the hard way.

Ours has to be completely removed from the rv, new slides, motor, roller. It's very time consuming from what we're told. A lot of the cost is that.

Update
So after 2 weeks of hotel and food costs our rig is fixed...mostly.
They called to say it's done but "still has some issues". Everything is working BUT we are going to have to use a manual override to close all the way. The floor is warped. Maybe because it was leaking from the slide problem!!! They said that and the roller being absent.
They're going to give us notes to call and talk with Thor. CW feels Thor should fix it. Let's hope.
We definitely got a Friday/Monday rig ...

On the bright side: your progress is at least encouraging!
Is CW going to contact Thor for you?

At least we can get out of the hotel and back in our "Homey".
No- they said we'll have to do it.

I have an appointment to take the Accolade in to Jayco Factory Service in Middlebury, IN beginning April 27, 2020 for repair/re-positioning of my driver's side slide. In the picture you can see where the picture frame molding on the slide is hitting the trim molding from the body wall panels. You can also see a slight bow by the corner molding. We had a discussion (teleconference) with Entegra, Accolade, the dealer, and us to discussion the issue and schedule the appointment before we signed the purchase agreement for the coach. Jayco, who will perform the repair, estimates 2 weeks for the repair. Their estimate is 2 or 3 days for the wall and slide repair and the the remainder of the time to have the side of the coach repainted to get all of the graphics to line up after raising the slide room. They will have to spray 4 colors plus clear and then reapply the factory applied diamond shield. As you can see the graphics aren't just curved lines so there is some detail involved. BTW, this is not a Schwintek slide. I have no issues with the bedroom Schwintek slide.

I will say that having a full 2 year factory warranty does provide some piece of mind. If I had to pay for this the paint alone would be a few thousand.

Ours is the Schwintek slide. Apparently the fact that Thor left off a roller caused this whole fiasco.
Not looking forward to the phone call.

Good luck, and remember:

So be firm... but diplomatic!

Thanks Bob!
I need to take a few days to get myself together before starting a new stress test. I also need to chat with extended warranty to try to recoup some of the funds from hotel and meals. CW actually alerted me this should be available.
So onward and upward!
Have pleasant holidays fellow travelers.
