Slide Problem

I have a 2004 hurricane with 2 hydraulic slides. When I got home, I set the park brake, started the engine and went to slide the sliders out. Nothing. Not even a sound. I knew my batteries were weak, so I bought new batteries. Tried it again. Nothing. Any help troubleshooting this would be really helpful!!!
THANKS!!!!!!
Ed

In my Axis you cannot operate the slide with the engine on. It is a safety feature so you cannnot deploy the slide while driving.
