I'm happy enough with the exxera tv's in the RV.

Good point - it's a ROKU TV
Bad point - it's only 720P

Spend a few extra dollars and get a full HD 1080P TV:

There are lots 32" TVs. Your original is likely a 720 resolution if you stick with that choice there are many choices, if you choose to go with a 1080 resolution or higher your choices drop dramatically there are only a few choices and most of them are Samsung. You need to shop around and select TVs that have the features you need. For example, if you use Amazon Prime Video you want a TV that can connect to Amazon Prime Video directly without an additional device like a DVD player. If you will connect a DVD player, a computer or a game machine make sure there are enough of the correct connectors. In thus day and age that most likely means HDMI connectors. But if you have a video tape player or an older game machine you will need the appropriate RCA connectors that match your device as well. You alone will have to decide what you buy. Based on the above criteria and price. Check out the following web sites.

https://WWW.AMAZON.COM

https://www.bestbuy.com

https://www.newegg.com

Personally I intend to install Samsung 1080p resolution TVs.

Note... if your eyes are over 65, 720p vs 1080p are synonymous at 8' distance. Now... audio is a different story.

Anyway, I got a 32" 720p Insignia Fire TV at Best Buy for $88. The built in "Fire TV" sux... we use a Fire Stick plugged into one of the HDMI ports. Works great for DVDs and occasional streaming when we have Internet...

I can't tell 1080 from 8k
I can tell 720 from 4k...until I lose concentration. Then I can't tell the difference until I concentrate again.

480 I can tell but I don't seem to care.

The atmos sound on my $109 Amazon days 42" 4k shop tv is so good I haven't hooked up the surround system.
And
It's a perfect computer monitor.

We have mostly Samsung and a couple of Sony. One 55" Visio remains on the televator, and picture quality is definitely not as good

Lot of options in the Samsung picture settings to get your preferences

Several in sound settings also

Going to a super center and viewing multiple screens on the same input is my method of selection for the home's

We just purchased a Jensen 24”. Replacing a Samsung which lost the screen on a bumpy road. Jensen are so much better, we have two others, which are now 11 years old and still have a great picture.

Just installed a 40" Vizio model D 1080P smart TV to replace the AxxERA main living area DUMB TV. I picked it up at Sams for about $179. I am going to replace the two 32" TVs with the 32" version as well.

Really!!! Lot's of people have missed that memo. Samsung is the leading LCD TV vendor worldwide. The company maintained its top position 17 years in a row with with an estimated 42.7 million unit shipments. Global LCD TV unit shipments exceeded 217 million units.

Where do you go to find a Jensen TV?

I actually dropped a Samsung 40" TV and liquids crystals showed weird looking patterns when powered up. I called Samsung and next day I got a call from a local Samsung repair center. They verified my model, got a part and scheduled a trip to my house and fixed on my living room floor in about 15 minutes at no charge. We have 7 Samsung TVs and it is kind of nice how they all seamlessly work with Samsung Phones & Smart things etc.) Kind of cool to be washing your clothes and have option of your TV notifying you of a status.

8k is almost uncomfortable to watch. It shows too much detail and can be annoying. It akin to photo enhance picture that looks beyond the quality that one would normally see with the naked eye.

If I need a TV, I measure the size I need, find a Samsung that has those dimensions that also include WiFi and Bluetooth, Once I know the model I shop for the best price and buy it. It cost what it cost. Can't tell you how may times my Samsung computer monitor is turned into instant TV with one button.

Not a fan of Roku TV, but I have a Roku device on every TV including my SUV.

Vizio also has a free TV feature as well. I got the Vizio because I was having difficulty locating a 40" 1080P Samsung to fit in the space. The price is much better as well.
