Slide topper does not retract cover tightly

We are on the road and, of course, another new challenge. I have a 16' ACE and the rear slide topper (bedroom has its own seperate slide topper) partially retracts the material normally, then stops rolling and the arm retracts leaving loose hanging topper.

The darn thing was working yesterday but we have tried it several times to no avail. The slide is fully operational.

Bonus question
Does anyone know where the radio/camera fuse is (in the battery compartment I believe) we swapped out the house batteries (because the original ones were kaputt) but the radio/camera did not come back on.

Sounds like something is binding or the roller springs have slipped/lost tension. There's lots of brand specific videos on YouTube on the adjustment process.

I called Thor and after being given the model of the topper, I called Carefree of Colorado (the manufacturer) and found our that (sadly) once again Thor tech support had given me wrong info.

After another call to Thor I got another support person who was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. She not only gave me the correct info, but went above and beyond the call helping with another issue and send me wiring diagrams of my coach for a radio/camera issue.

Carefree send me a manual for the exact slide topper with instructions and were very nice and helpful.

It's in the shop now. Typically, from the research I have done, the spring needs to be...re tightened. Will know more in a few days and will up date.
