Sofa Storage bin slides out

I have a 2015 Thor Hurricane and the sofa has a storage area (it also is a bed). Sometimes when driving the storage slides open.

Any suggestions on keeping it closed?

We have the same issue in a Chateau 31L. We got a large rubber door wedge to put under it when we are in motion. It works fine. Only concern I have is to make sure it does not get put in place with the slide out. Not sure what it would do the the storage drawer.

Magnets in wrong place

I had the same problem with my 2016 Windsport 31S, the problem is that the magnets that are suppose to keep the drawer shut was secured too low and didn't make contact with the steel frame of the sofa, I detached it and moved it higher to be able to make contact with the steel frame of the sofa, that solved the problem.

2014 Siesta Sprinter 24SR

Same issue, but our unit came with no means of latching the, under the sofa, drawer in place. I tried 3 (rather beefy) magnetic latches, which worked fine as long as you did not have anything heavier in the drawer. But we keep the table top and the "pipe" table stand, along with the sink cover, in that drawer. With those in the drawer, the drawer still kept sliding out.

Since, then I have modified a more positive latch.
As built, and freely sliding out during travel :

we've never had a problem with ours. usually have kids sitting there though so they prob hold it in.
Also, we have a small footlocker type storage ottoman sitting there that would hold it in..... or at least keep it from coming out too far, depending on where it's sitting

I have no need for kids on the couch. Beside, my kid is 26.

I suspect that if you did not have someone sitting on the couch, you might also have a problem.

The closest we come to a foot locker are the cases of wine that my wife purchases on our trips. Somehow the majority of our trips end up as wine tasting excursions.
