Some outlets not working while on battery only

While the generator or shorepower is going, everything is fine. When the generator is off and shore power is disconnected, only the fridge, TV's, DVD player and 1 other outlet works. No GFI is tripped, yet the outlets in the bathrooms, on each side of the master bed, over the sofa, under the dinette and over the sink, glove compartment, exterior plugs and microwave do not work.

The items you listed as working are on your inverter, which only supplies power to a select few outlets and your fridge. You would need a much larger inverter to power the entire coach.

Sounds like your use/store switch is set to store. With the switch in the store position, the converter powered by shore power or the generator powers all DC devices. With the shore power or the generator off and that switch is still in store all DC outlets will not be powered. But some AC outlets will still be powered like the one for the TV if the inverter is wired directly to the batteries and not through the use/store switch.

BTW, you combined DC and AC devices not working in your description above, but my theory deals with that.

As stated above, that’s the way Thor has set up your coach
The Inverter in your coach powers just a few outlets. Normally the “non-GFI” outlets.
So the only way to get the GFI outlets to work while on inverter is to re-wire coach at the breaker panel with a larger inverter that can support your power needs.

Most owners don’t make that mod/change, instead just use the genny when not plugged into shore-power, when a GFI outlet is desired.

Nothing works at all when the switch is in the Store position.

Sounds exactly the same as my Windsport.

TVs, outlet in console in front of passenger, one outlet in bed base (supposedly for CPap machine), outside fridge and power for media distribution box are the only ones powered through the inverter when running purely on battery power.

Doesn’t seem that you have a problem and it’s working as it should.

If that's the case, your inverter - which converts 12 volts DC to 120 volts AC - is wired through the USE/STORE switch. Some are wired directly to the batteries and are not affected at all by the USE/STORE switch.
