Winterizing the MH

I know it's only the beginning of October (almost) but our camping season
is almost done for the year.

Winterizing, this I my first year with a RV living in the snow & cold, I know
I need to drain the water tank and all the lines and add RV antifreeze to
the water lines (there is a feature on the water inlet for that) and dump
some RV antifreeze down the P traps.

I also assume it is best to fill the gas tank (80 gallons) and add a bottle
of Stabil (or similar) to it.

What else am I not thinking of???

On the stabil add the appropriate amount for 80 gallons of fuel and then run the vehicle and generator so the treated fuel circulates through the fuel system. One bottle of Stabil usually treats 8 or 10 gallons of gas.

Pour a small amount of anti-freeze in the toilet bowl and let it sit there. This will keep the seal lubricated.

Does your refrigerator have an ice maker? If so check the procedures for winterizing the ice maker.

If your coach has a whole house water filter remove the filter element prior to winterizing.

Don't forget the drains: I usually just walk around with the last little bit of antifreeze in the jug dumping it in the drains and toilet. Even though they aren't a closed system a bit of precaution doesn't hurt.
