Fire extinguisher

Just an FYI I thought I'd share.
Our RVs come with a small fire extinguisher that when used may put out a small fire but if you have to use it for a stove fire while cooking you basically destroy your stove with the chemical it uses.
I came across this a few yet ago and keep it right next toy stove. Not sure what the chemical it uses but it wipes clean with a damp cloth.

That said I also keep a 5 lb size attached to the side of my bed. I keep it there since my fridge and heater is between me and the exit door.

No. It's the baking soda that's in some that destroys whatever it's sprayed on.

That's why I'm not allowed in the kitchen.

I've used these for year when drag racing, boats, planes and RVs. Also have them around the house. Work great on small fires like with a grill (don't ask me how I know). If the fire gets much bigger than that, then yes it's time for marshmallows.
