Standard Equipment?

This seems like the best place to post this question. With several other electrical issues of late I have been tracing wires and creating 'as builts' for my 24.1 Vegas. Although I was told it was a chassis battery disconnect, I have been wondering about the cut-off switch located in my front passenger stowage compartment (picture attached) The positive wires (I have two) off the battery didnt seem to logically flow to the afore mentioned switch. Today I traced the cables and the source is the negative battery terminal and the end point after the switch is the ground on the starter motor. (second picture). Just wondering if this is a standard item on the 24.1 or something a prior owner put in as, my best guess, anti theft?

That's a custom add-on.

Thanks Ace. Makes sense as a break in the ground wire seems an odd way to do a battery isolation. I guess putting the cut off in the storage area makes it had to get to.
