I have never been in a Motor Home that had steps powered by the House batteries. There is a real good reason they are not.

However I have only been in a few hundred and there is always an odd one out there.

Thanks for the help. They are powered by coach batteries. Problem turned out to be tripped circuit breaker.

So now you go and find one

Are your steps away from the front entry?

And I am curious as to what type of 12volt circuit breaker you have that isn't automatically reset, all I have ever owned are automatic but again I learn things by asking questions

The steps are typically powered by the chassis battery to keep you from stepping a log ways from exiting a class A with a front entry door. And that is what I have never seen done by powering off the house bank.

Our Hurricane has a BCC and the step power comes from that... the chassis voltage. You start up the beast and the steps nest themselves.
